Snake Point, Belgrade, me

This project involved removing an existing cottage, then building this new cottage. The main challenge was that it is located on a peninsula and the homeowners requested a finished basement. We accomplished this by installing a membrane on the outside of the concrete, which makes the basement 2 feet under water.

The home is a great combination of retrofitting hand hewn beams and barn board. It also features a 6 bed bunk room that won an award in Boston Home Magazine for it's unique/innovative design and features. Designed by Art Dioli.

Another home that involved removing an existing structure. We ended up building a cape cod style home that was retrofitted with hand hewn beams and barn board on the first level.

On the second floor, rough sawn pine and hemlock in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Custom cabinets all around.

Another project involving removing an existing camp. The goal was to create an open space that opened up the view to the outdoors and creating multiple views of the lake.

It has unique features of different lines and configurations that all blend together.
